Tartan Parade Scotland, Edinburgh 9 may 2026

2nd artan Parade on 9th May 2026 will bring together tartans, pipe bands, dancers, musicians, organisations, and individuals from across Scotland and beyond to celebrate country’s rich heritage, tartans, culture and inclusivity!

Here’s a wee reminder of the Edinburgh Tartan Parade ROUTE

Witness the Parade from 1pm on the Royal Mile ➡️ Cockburn Street ➡️ Waverley Bridge ➡️ East Princes Street Gardens (top path) ➡️ Mound Precinct

Not 500 miles but a fair few steps from the heart of the Old Town to the New! This route is steeped in history, and we’d love for you to be part of it as spectators! Come line the streets, cheer us on, and soak up the atmosphere! Just under two weeks to go!
